I've finally managed to get a start in my section of
Kebablhu. I am working on designing a HUD interface for the game. It needs to have an inventory, a use function, and anything else you might need in a simple Adventure game.
Thus presenting my rather shoddily-made (with msPaint!) menu concept.

In case you can't read it, the options are:
Stuff = inventory for items collected
Fiddle with = the 'use' function
Talk to = the 'talk to' function (very creative, I know)
Glare at = an option to glare at something
Pass out = the exit
I intend to go back an make with the pretty once I find out if this is the correct direction the game is taking. With some luck I won't have to use msPaint again for a very long time.
